People that are always going on about how sharks are really bad and are killing humans on purpose are very ignorant. There less than 40 of the 300+ species of sharks that have been know to attack humans which is a very small majority indeed. Where on earth does all of this rubbish about sharks wanting to hunt down humans and kill the lot of us actually come from?

Movies

Massive films such as Jaws and Deep Blue Sea have really not helped when it comes to peoples opinions of the creatures. the chances are that if you do actually spot a great white when you are diving it will not come over and kill you, the media tend to go on about how bad sharks are but they are not and most of the time they do it because you are swimming in their ground. Unless a shark is either starving or your provoke it then it is very unlikely to come over and try to kill you. It would certainly seem that films are always making the shark to be the bad guy but who is swimming in their waters!

Water sports

The things that human beings do in the water have increased in popularity over the last few years and sharks will often mistake humans on surfboards and inflatable devices as small seals. The main food source for some of the bigger sharks is of course the seal so can you really blame them for this.

The Press

It would certainly seem that when it comes to sharks, newspapers have no sympathy at all and all because the figure for the amount of shark attacks that are occurring is rising it must mean that the sharks are out on a mission to kill everyone in sight.

Reality

Do not worry about being killed if you are off on a trip to see some sharks in action. Try red sea diving holidays or of course Sharm el sheikh diving if you fancy swimming with the “enemy” or in normal terms, going on one of those diving holidays.

Why do people really like Sharm El Sheikh and what is so great about? So why is this place so exceptionally sought after, are there specific reasons why it does so well in regards to holiday bookings?

Sharm El Shiekh has two reasons why people are so interested to visit. The main and biggest reason is the diving capabilities. Many people regard Sharm as one of the best diving locations in the world, and this is for several reasons. The first is that there are an unbelievable amount of Coral reefs in the immediate area, just off the coast in the Red Sea, somewhere actually in the region of about 250! The Coral reefs are easy even for free divers to locate and even reach. There are even over 900 species of fish making it a great place for people to explore something new every time they visit here. This means that experienced divers can analyse a different group of fish each time they come here.

When divers head out to look for certain things and species in the ocean, this forms a new type of tourism named “Scientific tourism”. This form of holidaying is for those that like to take notes on new species or collate information on something they have a passion for. These holidays are very popular with travel agents, mainly because the length of someones stay greatly increases.

The next big reason for Sharm becoming such a big tourist attraction is none other than the weather itself. This warm ang dry climate is unique to Africa, and especially to Egypt. If you don’t like the rain, then this is the place for you, even the rain is warm, what rain there is anyway. The temperatures can even reach around 38 degrees at their peak in July.

Sharm El Sheikh holidays are great, they are even more popular than Caribbean holidays and Maldives holidays combined! St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays will have to step up their game!

So you’ve been dreaming of that white Christmas, the one where your wonderland is covered in snow….. Not for all of us? It would seem that lately people are more interested in the warmth that Christmas brings, not just to our hearts (Ahhh) but also to our bodies.

It would seem that a lot of people want nothing to do with the cold weather at Christmas time, now they just want to sunbathe. The Christmas period brings with it offers on holidays across the world. And this year it would appear that you, the tourists want to go on these holidays. Christmas holiday sales are already up this year, and many of you are looking for locations like St Lucia or Barbados.

The prices for holidays in such luxury locations are actually quite astonishing. The competition is out there and tour operators are doing what they can to bring prices down and offer us the best deals, to try and entice us into the Christmas holidays they have available. There must be a reason that people want these holidays, but what is it that makes them so sought after.

The whole world is warming up, and not many people like the snow anyway. Snow is good when you want to go and have fun, but when it is so cold you don’t want to go outside it’s not so good. People now what to sit on a beach, and enjoy Christmas, instead of being stuck at home worrying that you have got people what they want. Nowadays the best thing that you can do for your family, is to take them on holiday. Not many people will complain, and its easier to arrange than a Christmas at home.

So what are you doing this Christmas, maybe instead of Caribbean holidays, you could try Maldives holidays or Dubai holidays, they are still just as warm, and not too mention just as luxurious.

It was time for me to get out of the country and go on a decent holiday. It was time that i went and got on a plane and got away from everything, i have been working as a lawyer non-stop for the past 15 years and needed some time to relax. So i thought to myself, best make this a holiday to remember, I’m off to the Caribbean?

So I booked a two week holiday that would take me to three islands. The first was the Bahamas, a fantastic place of sun, sea and sand. I thought to myself that when i get here i just want to chill by the beach, little did i know i was going to find something i really wanted to try. Swimming with dolphins, this was my chance to indulge in swimming with one of nature’s most amazing creatures. These divine and majestic marine animals are both smart and friendly. Any cost is worth this experience, i had one whole hour on my own with a trainer and a dolphin. The Bahamas was great, so far Caribbean holidays, well worth it.

So next I was taken to St Lucia. Although a small island, St Lucia had a lot to offer, ranging from celebrities to rain forests, i also saw Amy Winehouse, but was too nervous to ask for an autograph. I couldn’t believe it, this island wasn’t just about the sand and the blue seas, there was basically a rain forest that covered the whole island. We went out on a Caribbean safari, the stories they told were amazing. I had heard a lot about St Lucia holidays, but seeing it first hand was brilliant.

Next up was a real treat, Barbados. I had been looking forward to this last part of my holiday, I have always wanted to go on Barbados holidays, but it has not been completely available to me. This was the night life island, going out in the evenings was great fun and I had the most wonderful time, I would recommend these holidays to anyone that asks.
